The Magic of Vibration ~ Alternate thinking

Cymatics
Everything is energy...
Everything in the universe is energy. Nothing is actually solid. Instead, objects are made up of microscopic particles vibrating at such a fast rate that they appear solid. Our limited sense of sight doesn’t let us see the movement, or vibration, of the particles. Every object, including human organs, have a natural healthy vibratory rate referred to as “resonance”. If a part of the body begins to vibrate out of resonance or harmony, it creates what we term dis-ease.
Cymatics, from Greek: κῦμα, meaning "wave", is a subset of modal vibrational phenomena. The term was coined by Hans Jenny (1904-1972), a Swiss follower of the philosophical school known as anthroposophy. Typically the surface of a plate, diaphragm or membrane is vibrated, and regions of maximum and minimum displacement are made visible in a thin coating of particles, paste or liquid. Different patterns emerge in the excitatory medium depending on the geometry of the plate and the driving frequency.
Resonating matter with sound waves or vibration, like fluid on a speaker cone or sand spread out on a plate, causes the matter to form various geometric shapes.

The apparatus employed can be simple, such as the old Chinese singing bowl, in which copper handles are rubbed and cause the copper bottom elements to vibrate. Other examples include the Chladni Plate and the so-called cymascope.

The German musician and physicist Ernst Chladni noticed in the eighteenth century that the modes of vibration of a membrane or a plate can be observed by sprinkling the vibrating surface with a fine dust (e.g., lycopodium powder, flour or fine sand). The powder moves due to the vibration and accumulates progressively in points of the surface corresponding to the sound vibration. The points form a pattern of lines, known as nodal lines of the vibration mode. The normal modes of vibration, and the pattern of nodal lines associated with each of these are completely determined, for a surface with homogeneous mechanical characteristics, from the geometric shape of the surface and by the way in which the surface is constrained.
Experiments of this kind, similar to those carried out earlier by Galileo Galilei around 1630 and by Robert Hooke in 1680, were later perfected by Chladni, who introduced them systematically in 1787 in his book Entdeckungen über die Theorie des Klanges (Discoveries on the theory of sound). This provided an important contribution to the understanding of acoustic phenomena and the functioning of musical instruments. The figures thus obtained (with the aid of a violin bow that rubbed perpendicularly along the edge of smooth plates covered with fine sand) are still designated by the name of "Chladni figures".

Anthroposophy, a philosophy founded by Rudolf Steiner, postulates the existence of an objective, intellectually comprehensible spiritual world that is accessible by direct experience through inner development. More specifically, it aims to develop faculties of perceptive imagination, inspiration, and intuition through the cultivation of a form of thinking independent of sensory experience, and to present the results thus derived in a manner subject to rational verification. Anthroposophy aims to attain in its study of spiritual experience the precision and clarity attained by the natural sciences in their investigations of the physical world.

Dr.Emoto
Can words and music really affect water?
Dr. Masaru Emoto, a doctor of alternative medicine from Japan, has conducted many experiments on water crystals and have found that words and music have both positive and negative effects on water. Dr. Emoto's experiments have been published into several books, one of them the well-known book The Hidden Messages in Water. His findings show that music has a big effect on water and therefore, on us as well, since we are largely made up of water.
Dr. Emoto put water into containers and wrote or typed different thoughts and feelings on labels and put them on the containers. Immediately afterwards, the water was frozen and the combination of a microscope and high-speed photography resulted in photos of water crystals. Beautiful water crystals were formed when Dr. Emoto used beautiful words, such as love and gratitude while misshapen and distorted crystals were formed when slang or swear words were used. Polluted water formed ugly crystals, but after polluted water was prayed over, prettier water crystals resulted.

Such amazing findings show that words, both written and spoken, can actually have an effect on water. But what about music? Dr. Emoto also did these water crystal experiments with music. He put water between two speakers and turned on a specific piece of music for several hours. Then the water was frozen and photographed by Dr. Emoto.
Classical music such as those by Beethoven and Bach resulted into beautiful water crystals. Dr. Emoto also found that the Tibet Sutra and the Kawachi Folk Dance all produced pretty water crystals. However, rock music did not have the same results - instead, rings of cracks showed up when the water exposed to rock music was frozen.

These results by Dr. Emoto and other scientists since then have shown that some music has healing properties and others don't. What's even more amazing is that music actually has an effect on a non-living, physical matter. Since 70% of our bodies are made up of water, we can apply the healing properties of classical music to our own bodies.

Every piece of music has different frequencies, and these frequencies can reach different parts of our body to assist our immune systems and minds to achieve healing and other positive effects. Dr. Emoto has said that he sees energy as vibrations moving through matter. These vibrations are called hado by Dr. Emoto. Hado translates as wave motions or vibrations.

For example, listening to The Moldau by Bedrich Smetana can reduce irritability and energize the lymphatic tissues of the body. Dr. Emoto attributes this to the hado in the music that can cancel out the hado of irritability. The music also resonates with the hado of the lymphatic system. Other examples include listening toThe Blue Danube by Johann Strauss II will revitalize your central nervous system while listening to the opera “Lohengrin” by Richard Wagner will remove the hado of self-pity from your thoughts.

In all, Dr. Emoto and his research and findings on how music affects water has profound implications for us and the role music plays in our lives.

What is Vibrational Healing?
Vibrational healing is a process whereby vibrations are introduced or transferred into a human being's physical and energetic bodies so that the vibrations which have become unbalanced in the human physical or auric body are adjusted.
Jonathan Goldman, author of Healing Sounds: The Power of Harmonics, says: “If parts of the body become imbalanced, they may be healed through projecting the proper and correct frequencies back into the body.” Vibrational Medicine looks at the energy anatomy within and around the physical body. Imbalances and disharmonies are treated using frequencies from flower and gem essences, sound, therapeutic grade essential oils, radionics, homeopathics, acupuncture, color, hands-on healing, and crystals. Each individual sound, color, crystal, or flower essence has a specific quality that is beneficial for a particular human organ, system, or emotion.

Interestingly, vibrational healing is nothing new. It has been successfully practiced in numerous forms all over the world for thousands of years. Only recently has it come to the forefront in western society. That’s because scientists have finally developed instruments that are sophisticated enough to measure how and why this mode of healing works. Considered “quackery” in the past, many of these “alternative techniques” are now being used in tandem with mainstream medical treatment. The American Holistic Nurses Association is now training RNs to use therapeutic grade essential oils, also known as aromatherapy, in a clinical setting.
Ancient Indian texts accurately describe the human energy system. Information and diagrams not only detail where the main energy centers are located but also, what part of the endocrine system each energy center works with and how imbalances in the energy center affect the physical, mental, and emotional state of the person. Specific vibrational tools are suggested for correcting imbalances depending on the particular energy center involved. These energy centers and the energy field surrounding the body can now be seen using Kirlian and other special photographic equipment.
Can We Reprogram Our DNA and Heal Ourselves With Frequency, Vibration & Energy?
As though to confirm the hunch many of us had that our ‘junk’ DNA was anything but disposable, researchers from the Gene and Stem Cell Therapy Program at Sydney’s Centenary Institute have proven that 97 percent of human DNA programs or encodes proteins in our bodies. One of the researchers involved in this study said, “this discovery, involving what was previously referred to as “junk,” opens up a new level of gene expression control . . .”
(Cyma-therapy)
The practice of Cymatherapy is derived from the field of Cymatic Therapy which was developed by Dr. Peter Guy Manners, a British osteopath, in the 1960s. His work grew out of early research into electromagnetic energy and the concept that every living thing—person, animal, plant or organism—is surrounded by an energy field that resonates at its own particular frequency. Scientific investigations into the effects of sound on matter, the physics of acoustics and the applications of sound on biological matter  developed into the field of Cymatic Therapy. MORE HERE
Cymatic therapy is a form of sound therapy based on the principle that every cell in the body resonates at its own particular sound frequency. Research has shown that there are hundreds of signature vibrations associated with healthy organs and tissues. When a cell or tissue is not at its optimal state of wellness and when there is illness and imbalance, the frequency is altered.

This also means there are multiple modalities that mainstream science has yet to give a nod to, which just might re-train or reprogram our DNA — even cells which have become cancerous or are mutilated by the onslaught of toxins in our environment and negative emotional baggage which has been proven to have an undesirable impact on health. Many people have compared human DNA to the Internet. It communicates immense amounts of information in micro-cosmically small, but significant ways, mimicking a vast network of information portals, not unlike the billions of websites connected to one another all over the world. It may account for our intuition, spontaneous healing, and a number of other phenomena that mainstream science is just beginning to understand.

Chaos Theory and DNA

Chaos theory states that chaotic appearances are just a very complex system affected by very subtle changes in an almost infinite array of varying possibilities. When you consider that humans have 3 billion base pairs of DNA, most of which are identical, but that there are at least 3 billion raised to the 4th power (4 raised to 3,000,000,000) of positions possible – a number larger than the number of particles in the Universe – you might just call DNA a highly organized but extremely complex system – seeming chaos. Is it not possible that such a complex system can be affected by very subtle shifts of light or sound, even the human voice?

The DNA Spectrum: Making Music with Biology
There are numerous scientists (not to mention thousands of years of spiritual adepts) who claim light and sound alter our DNA and directly influence our biology. DNA is a type of language, albeit a complex one.

Mainstream science will tell us that while DNA involves construction rules that affect different sequences, the ‘dictionary’ of DNA does not follow Zipf’s law, which every other natural language follows. So, even though DNA has structure, it is not a language. I heartily disagree. If you have ever watched a musician who was skilled in playing his or her instrument technically, to absolute perfection, but somehow lost the emotional ‘language’ which is necessary to convey an ovation-inspired performance, then you understand that stringing together a perfect phrase or sequence of notes does not account for an entirely separate and subtle language that speaks to the human heart and mind. It is the technical perfection of the right rhythms and notes paired with heart and passion which brings us to our feet.

Russian linguists, Dr. Pjotr Garajajev, and Vladimir Poponin found that DNA does follow similar patterns and rules to human language, but this is not the most interesting information, by a long shot. In fact, biologist, Dr. David Deamer, and Susan Alexjander, who holds an MA in music, have discovered that DNA makes its own beautiful music before we even try to alter it. The two measured the actual molecular vibrations of DNA and recorded it using an infrared spectrophotometer. They exposed each section of DNA to infrared light and measured the wavelength it absorbed, and therefore determined its sound frequency. What it made was ‘hauntingly beautiful’ music. “Some of the combinations of frequencies,” Alexjander said, “. .they are just stunning. It sounds alive to me.”

While interesting and inspiring, at least to the imagination, ideas of singing DNA and re-structuring DNA with intentional frequency are certainly difficult to find in practical application and are as of yet lacking legitimate scientific validation. As with Chi, the mapped out essence of life to Chinese medicine, the difficulty in finding verifiable proof and use for these theories is something that has earned this line of thinking the title of new age and pseudo-science.
Science does, however, confirm that sound and light can and do directly influence the body’ healing processes. Researchers at the University of Cincinnati have had measurable success in applying high-frequency electrical signals to vascular cells with great effect in healing chronic, persistent wounds like diabetic ulcers. For decades, the mystery of Royal Rife and his frequency healing machines have been touted by many as the end-all cure for a wide array of diseases, parasites, and bacterial and fungal infections. His discoveries suggest that every living organism has its own unique resonant frequency and that by subjecting the body to electrical currents that target specific pathogens, diseases and ailments can be neutralized and destroyed without pharmaceuticals or invasive procedures. Furthermore, acupuncture, the ancient Chinese system of medicine that works directly with the body’s energy conduits and has offered tangible healing benefits to millions over many centuries, has also recently been validated by scientific research.
These examples corroborate, to a degree, the ancient spiritual notion that the human body is enlivened by a subtle energetic system that can be manipulated by the application of sound, light and intention. For one to understand this on experiential terms, however, it is necessary to cultivate the sensitivity to detect and direct this energy, but for many, this process of cultivation is simply too demanding and too methodical to be assimilated as a habitual part of daily life. Most people simply do not have the patience in our fast paced environment to achieve the awareness of this, scientists included.
This is not an easy theory to prove, or disprove, and the answers are unlikely to satisfy everyone. The best that we can see is that truth is relative to personal experience in some ways, and when an individual has spiritual, or cosmic experiences that do not fall within the explainable territory of rigid science, they, unfortunately, are left high and dry by a world paradigm that is stringently adamant on disproving mysticism.

Certainly, this is a complicated and sometimes heated topic, as we do live in a world still dominated by material science that attempts to reduce mysticism and spirituality to anomalies in brain chemistry and personality. Yet, at the same time, the human race is coming up against serious plateaus in its understanding of how to interact with the natural world, including our bodies, which means we must be willing to tangentially explore the validity of the information received through intuitive experiences.

Tai Chi is a Form of Energy Healing
The Chinese studied human energy for many years and came up with their own unique methods of working with it. What they discovered is that just as we have veins and nerves running throughout our bodies, we also have lines of energy called meridians. If the flow of energy along these lines is moving smoothly, we are in a state of good health. If the energy is blocked or there is too much energy in one area, we are in a state of dis-ease. Chi Kung and Tai Chi contain movements that open up the flow of energy along the meridians. Chi Kung exercises are designed to move and balance energy throughout the body. Tai Chi is a series of movements that works with the energy channels as well as increasing strength and flexibility of the physical body. It is now recognized by the MS Society as a valuable therapy.

Frequency
Low Frequency Equals Poor Health
Researchers found that “the normal frequency range of the human body is between 62-68 MHz; but if it drops below that, the individual becomes a candidate for illness . . . Cold symptoms appear at 58 MHz, flu symptoms at 57 MHz, candida at 55 MHz, epstein bar at 52 MHz, cancer at 42 MHz. . “. . Stated simply if we can keep the body frequency high enough, and well oxygenated, we will be free of disease.”

Part of the intense interest in the field of vibrational medicine is the knowledge that disharmony shows up in the energy field before it becomes a problem in the body. If imbalances can be detected while still in the energy field, theoretically dis-ease can be avoided altogether.

Essential Oils are High Frequency
The higher the frequency, the more life force an object contains. More life force means better health.
Life force is called Chi in China, Ki in Japan, and Prana in India. Each of these cultures has developed elaborate ways for humans to increase and balance the amount of life force they have within their bodies. Researchers discovered that “processed/canned food had a zero MHz frequency, fresh produce had up to 15 MHz, dry herbs from 12-22 MHz, and fresh herbs from 20-27 MHz. Quality essential oils started at 52 MHz and went as high as 320 MHz, which is the frequency of rose oil.”
Essential oils have been used for thousands of years to treat physical and emotional ailments. Jean Valnet, M.D indicates in his book The Practice of Aromatherapy that essential oils are not only used to clean and disinfect European hospitals, replacing harsh chemicals but are also used to treat patients and are sometimes even ingested. In one test, it was found that when a person drinks a cup of coffee, his/her frequency can drop by as much as 10 MHz. It can take 3 or more days for his/her body to return to its original frequency. However, if they use an essential oil of 75 MHz or higher immediately after drinking the coffee, his/her frequency returned to normal in less than 1 minute.
In addition to their use as vibrational healing, therapeutic grade essential oils provide many other key roles in improving health. Essential oils serve the same function in the plant as blood does in the human body. Their complex chemical constituents cleanse, protect, oxygenate, nourish, and offer many therapeutic benefits. Many therapeutic grade essential oils have antiparasitic, antibacterial, antifungal, and antiviral properties. They also dissolve the petrochemical microfilm coating on human Growth Hormone (hGH) receptor sites. This microfilm prevents the receptor sites from receiving hGH properly which directly contributes to premature aging and a myriad of other health issues. That is why essential oils are included in my Dancing Dolphin Sacred Healing Oils and other vibrational healing products.

Negative Emotion Creates Disease
Gregg Braden, the author of Awakening to Zero Point and Walking Between the Worlds, has research results which indicate that negative emotion causes the frequency of the body to decrease. On the other hand, feelings of love, joy, laughter, and other positive emotions cause the frequency of the body to increase. Jane Buckle, MD, international lecturer, and former Nursing Assistant to the Queen’s Physician of England, told me that if a person has an auto accident and doesn’t deal with the fear that it caused, within 2 years it will show up as a disease in the body.
The Harmonic Scale of Emotion, as described by Robert Tennyson Stevens, indicates which emotions are high frequency and which ones are not. The highest frequency emotion is enthusiasm. Love and joy also fall into this category. This is followed by pain (emotional or physical) which is followed by anger. The next lower frequency emotion is fear, which is followed by grief. Below grief is apathy. Finally, the lowest frequency emotion is unconsciousness (meaning it is so awful we have completely blocked out those situations from our lives). If we are experiencing anything less than enthusiasm in any area of our life, we have lowered our frequency and are running the risk of dis-ease. In order to be healthy, people must increase their frequency.

Flower and Gem Essences Aid in Healing on All Levels
Flowers contain the greatest amount of life force found in plants. Flower essences contain the energetic signature of the flower trapped in water through the use of sunlight. Each flower represents one or more qualities or emotions expressed by humans. The use of flower essences aids in balancing those qualities or emotions. This in turn aids in healing the physical issues caused by the imbalances. One of the beautiful qualities of flower essences is that they are self-regulating. This means a person can’t take too much. When an optimal level is reached, the body and energy field simply stops accepting the essence.
Richard Gerber M.D. wrote Vibrational Medicine: New Choices for Healing Ourselves which is considered the definitive text on vibrational healing. In it, he describes what he terms “The Human Multidimensional Energy System.” An egg shaped energy field (or body) surrounds the physical body. There are several layers that make up the energy body. They go from the lowest frequency of the physical body at the center to higher and higher frequencies as you extend out toward the outer edge. The names he gives the various energy layers are the etheric body, the astral body, the mental body, and furthest out the causal body. Dr. Gerber indicates that homeopathy only works with the physical and the etheric bodies. Flower essences, however, work with all the subtle bodies, the physical body, and even higher spiritual energies. Regardless of the origin of the problem – physical, mental, emotional, or spiritual – flower essences can aid in healing.

Sound Can Be a Powerful Healer
Sound moves in waves through the air and is measured in cycles per second. According to sound healing expert, Jonathan Goldman, humans only hear within the range of 16 to 16,000 cycles per second. Dolphin sonar is around 180,000 cycles per second.
Richard Daab, in an Interview with my friend Ilona Selke, writes that “Dolphins recently have made the news as being better therapists than many humans. People in pain receive relief from swimming with dolphins when nothing else has helped. Autistic children suddenly become cooperative and interactive, where only a wall of silence was seen before.” Perhaps it is because dolphins emit such a high frequency that people experience healing while in the water with them.
Healing with Sound can be accomplished in many ways. Sound healing practitioners can play instruments, use their voice, or play tapes or CDs. They can even have the client lie on a bed with speakers and circuits arranged so the music waves literally flow through the entire body. This special bed is often referred to as a “sound chamber.” Just lying back and listening to beautiful music in order to heal. Remarkable experiences have been reported with the use of sound.

Hands on Healing is a Powerful Way to Raise Vibration
Reiki and Therapeutic Touch are but two of the many names for Hands-on Healing. While a person sits or reclines, high-frequency energy flows through the practitioner’s hands to the client. The various types of hands-on healing use different hand positions and movements. Several scientific studies have been performed which clearly show that a greater amount of energy is emitted from a healer’s hands than from a non- healer's hands. Apparently we all have the ability to channel high-frequency energy through our hands. We simply have blocks in the energy channels in our body, which prevent us from doing it. Through the practice of Chi Kung exercises or the formal study of Reiki and other techniques, we are able to open the necessary channels to be hands-on healers. A few individuals are born with the channels open and they are considered “natural healers.”
Gabriel Cousens M.D., in the Preface to Flower Essences and Vibrational Healing by Gurudas, says, “Although we often misperceive disease as something that happens on the physical plane, the true cause of disease comes from a conflict between the mind and the soul. While vibrational therapies such as flower essences can help overcome these problems, even stimulating healing of physical diseases, inner tranquility, and calmness to prevent and overcome the real causes of disease can only be obtained through spiritual practices such as meditation.”

Peace
According to the Taoists, this love and ecstasy that we feel in our most intimate relationship is simply a taste of the Universal Love and the blissful oneness with the Original Force of the Universe that we can experience as we grow spiritually.
Pay attention to whom you share your intimate energy with. Intimacy at this level intertwines your aural energy with the aural energy of the other person. These powerful connections, regardless of how insignificant you think they are, leave spiritual debris, particularly within people who do not practice any type of cleansing, physical, emotional or otherwise.
Tantra is an art, science and a spiritual awakening which often initiates transformation so great that one’s views of the world can be challenged. It’s good to note here that this is also a platform upon which yoga established its roots. What happens once we are open to expansion is that we become more accepting of our self as a spiritual being.  Tantra supports the awakening in our key energy centers’ known as Chakras. There’s such amazing potential for our overall health as individuals throughout our lifetime, which is why we are becoming more open to learning about Chakras and how they hold the key to this higher consciousness – or spiritual awakening.

Originally Tantra was born through the scriptures of Shiva, A Tantric Master who lived in India nearly 7,000 years ago. He derived over 112 methods of meditation and these were considered a way for the human experience to become a portal to spiritual awakening. He embraced sensual love between men and women as being integral as we ascend on the spiritual path and also recognized that both men and women needed to be of equal balance in their principle and coupling. The transformational process is experienced as a memory of one’s essential nature. Within this practice, every aspect of the human being is honoured.

What does it feel like?
Weightless, free from thought, an incredible peace, orgasmic; silvery hues shooting through the third eye then up through the crown; the body is no longer, becoming light. Surreal yet delicate and amazingly nurturing for the soul.
Make sure it's mutual love.
